    Dr Julie Peterson, RN, was born in Seattle, Washington. With time, she made it to San Antonio and has worked in Emergency Rooms, Recovery Rooms, Intensive Care Units, and as member of EMS teams. She is now an Assistant Professor at UT Health School of Nursing, teaching Fundamentals to incoming nursing students. Her PhD research and dissertation was centered on cardiovascular disease. One large project in her life is Public education regarding lifesaving CPR.
    Richard Newman, MD, is a San Antonio native.His education started with Highlands High School, then Texas A&M University,Medical School at UT Health San Antonio, ENT Resident at Wilford Hall Medical Center,Surgical Oncology Fellowship at MD Anderson, teaching  and private practice since 1980. He served as an Air Force surgeon in SE Asia during the Vietnam war. His life was saved October 25, 2015, thanks to CPR!
